If your computer seems to be working fine, you may wonder why you should apply a patch. By not applying patches, you might be leaving the door open for security threats.
Update settings for Windows operating system PCs are inherited from TEDU network update policy;
- Important updates are downloaded automatically but the user can choose whether and when to install them
- Recommended updates are treated the same way as important updates within the default setting. User can change this setting via Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Update\Change settings menu on their operating system.
Updates for McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise and AntiSpyware Enterprise are done automatically whenever connected to TEDU network.

Faculty and Staff require to have TEDUPass ID and connected to TEDU network.
Getting Started
Operating System and Antivirus update settings are inherited from TEDU network update policy automatically by all computers connected to TEDU network.
